Rugby Programme a Success

On Saturday 22nd June the Marist Premier Rugby Team took on Hautapu in the Championship round at Marist Park. This team featured 12 St John’s Old Boys in the 22 man squad. These players were: Liam Gilheany-Black, Sam Pou, Adrien Wharawhara, Tiernan Sanders (Pictured), Keaton Neels, Dan Tickelpenny, Leigh Bristowe, Leroy Van Dam, Amilame Finau, Liam McPherson, Max Baines and Hausea Vea. This lineup includes three former Head Boys. Marist won 33-17 and remain undefeated for the season. It is great to see the St Johns College rugby programme working so well. |
